Little Thompson Observatory
The observatory's reservation guidance says it accepts “only one visitor group per night” and asks groups to schedule at least two weeks ahead. Group visits are limited to 15 people, and the observatory says it normally closes during July for annual maintenance.[1]
Its telescope page lists several instruments, including the 24-inch Mount Wilson telescope, an 18-inch Tinsley reflector and a 6-inch refractor, plus a heated observing room.[1]
Schedule freshness warning
The currently published reservation material indexed from the observatory still refers to August and September 2025. Older pages also describe recurring public star nights, but I am not treating those dates or cadence as verified for 2026.[1]
Before planning a visit, contact the observatory directly or use its live site to confirm that a public night or group reservation is actually available.[1]
