2026 public star nights are independently verified
Denver Astronomical Society listed Berthoud Public Star Night events at Little Thompson Observatory on April 17, May 15 and July 17, 2026. Those listings confirm that the recurring public-night program continued in 2026.

Why the next date still needs confirmation
Little Thompson Observatory's own reservation calendar is live, but its explanatory text still refers to August and September 2025. That makes it useful for the facility's reservation process but not reliable enough to infer a future 2026 public-night date.[2][3]
Before you go
Treat the 2026 program as confirmed, but verify the next public night directly with Little Thompson Observatory before driving to Berthoud. Recent 2026 listings described the public nights as free, but time, weather procedures and access details can change.[2][3]
