Visit Durango says dark-sky kits are available year-round at the Durango Welcome Center or Pine River Library in Bayfield.^[1]

The tourism office says each self-guided kit includes Celestron 8x42 binoculars and smartphone clamps for taking photographs through the binoculars, with the kits intended for exploring stars, galaxies and constellations independently.^[1]
