Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Colorado Parks and Wildlife lists Lake Pueblo State Park as open daily from 5am to 10pm and says “Camping is available year-round.”[1]

CPW requires reservations for campsites and a valid vehicle pass. Camping is limited to designated sites, with multiple campground loops and a mix of electric and basic options around the reservoir.[1]

What the current source does not claim

The current CPW park and camping information does not advertise Lake Pueblo as a dedicated astronomy venue or list a standing stargazing program. For this guide, its practical value is legal overnight camping in a reservoir setting rather than an official dark-sky designation.[1]
