Aspen Snowmass

Aspen Snowmass describes Stars Above Aspen as a chance to “Explore the cosmos from 11,212 feet at the Sundeck.”[2]

For 2026, the operator listed the annual event for August 10 from 6–10pm. The program included guided telescope stations, a Fiske Planetarium Minidome, constellation interpretation, activities, food and drinks. Tickets included the gondola ride, with separate last-up and last-down times and limited event capacity.[2]

Colorado Stargazing Trail

The Colorado Tourism Office also lists Stars Above Aspen as a featured trail event and describes the Sundeck astronomy program, gondola access and telescope stations.[3]
