Colorado Parks and Wildlife

CPW says the Northern Colorado Astro Society will bring telescopes and share its knowledge while pointing visitors toward stars, planets and galaxies throughout the night.[2]

The current event is Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 8:30–11pm at North View Campground, Site 241. It is open to everyone, no registration is required, and the event is free with a valid park pass.[2]

Light discipline and parking

CPW encourages red lights and asks visitors to be mindful of headlights. Event parking is near the vault toilet or at the far end of North View Campground.[2]
