Colorado Parks and Wildlife
Colorado Parks and Wildlife invited visitors to “learn about and look at the night sky above.”[1]
The June 6 event ran from 8:15–10pm. CPW said astronomers would provide telescope views and help visitors spot stars, galaxies and other features of the night sky. Visitors were told to bring warm clothes and a picnic blanket or chair.[1]
Admission
No event registration was required, but a state-park pass was required for entry.[1]
Current status
The June 6 event has passed. Golden Gate Canyon hosted additional astronomy programming later in June, but this page remains an archive of this specific date rather than assuming another recurrence.[1]
