Dark Skies of the Wet Mountain Valley
The organizer invites visitors to Bluff Park for a free public session viewing “our Sun aka Sol!”[2]
Dedicated solar telescopes and filters are used for safe viewing. Depending on the Sun's activity, visitors may see features such as sunspots, prominences or solar flares.[2]
Access
The September 5 session runs 11am to noon. No reservation is needed and the event is free.[2]
Weather procedure
The organizer says weather cancellations will be announced at least two hours before the event through its phone greeting and social updates. Check before driving.[2]
