CPW says the Black Canyon Astronomical Society brought high-powered telescopes and astronomy guidance to Ridgway State Park for Celestial Secrets.[1]
The August 15 program ran from 9–11pm at the Ridgway State Park Visitor Center. Organizers described telescope views of planets, star clusters and distant galaxies, with constellation guidance for visitors of all ages.[1]
Admission and preparation
No registration was required. The program was free, but a park pass was required for entry. CPW recommended a light jacket and red-light flashlight.[1]
