Estes Park Memorial Observatory
The observatory says it is accepting reservations “through October 12th, the final day of our season.”[2]
Each stargazing session is limited to 14 people because of the size of the observing dome. EPMO offers one session per night, usually arriving around sundown, and says sessions last about two hours. The confirmation email supplies the exact start time and visit details.[2]
How reservations work
EPMO no longer accepts online bookings. Reservation requests must be emailed after checking the availability calendar, and full nights move to a waitlist if cancellations occur.[2]
The observatory says it is a volunteer-run educational resource and does not charge admission for reserved visits, although donations support the facility.[2]
Current status
This is an active 2026 program through October 12. Use the observatory's current schedule rather than a generic recurring-event assumption because each night is capacity limited.[2]
